Who is Alexor Studio?

Alexor Studio is a small, family owned business that started when one sibling, a crafter, couldn’t find a compact universal storage solution for all of her various blending brushes from different brands.  So her brother, with an engineering background, started 3D printing some designs for her in late 2024. As her collection grew, we realized we needed a design that could be customized and expandable based on an individual’s craft needs as every crafter is unique. Crafty Tool Tower is our first market product – where each crafter can build their own dream brush/tool storage system.

Do I need to assemble your products?

Yes. Your tower will arrive in the shipping box unassembled. You will need to assemble the platforms, posts and wedges to build a tower.  This allows you to customize the tower to your crafting needs.  Video for assembly and use instructions is here.  We recommend grouping wedges with similar post requirements on the same platform. Place the platforms with the shortest posts at the bottom of the tower.  We recommend no more than 4 layers per tower. Wedges that are marked as TOP only, should be placed on the uppermost layer.

How many and which posts do I need for a tower?

To calculate the number of post sets needed for a tower, total up the base platform (1) + stacking platforms (n).  The number of post sets needed is n.  If you are just purchasing the rotating base and plan to use it as a single layer, you do not need any posts. A post set contains 3 posts needed for 1 layer. 

To stack layers, group all the wedges being purchased (or already purchased) into sets of three. The tallest post needed among the three wedges is the size you will need - to have clearance for the tallest wedge.  Remember to group the shorter wedges together and taller wedges together. 

How do I move a tower?

When moving a tower, ALWAYS lift the tower underneath the base platform - DO NOT lift on a stacking platform because it will come apart.  Remove the wedges on any upper platforms - anything above the base platform - before moving.

What is the shipping cost?

Shipments above $100 are free.  Below that is based on weight and package size. We ship UPS ground from North Carolina.

How long does it take to process/ship my order?

Packages will usually be shipped the following business day if all of the components are in stock. We currently ship only in the US due to uncertainty around tariff issues.  If you are outside the US, please contact us so we know that there is interest. There are just 3 of us at Alexor Studio, so please be patient.  We’ll try to make and fulfill orders as quickly as possible. Some wedges take over 8 hours to print. 

What materials are used in your products?

Each component is 3D printed using sturdy PETG translucent plastic.  

Do you offer other colors?

We only use translucent clear color to make mixing and matching components simpler.  Also, this lets your color brushes stand out and shine.

My product arrived damaged. What do I do?

If any product arrives damaged, contact service@alexor.com and leave a note and a photo describing the damage once you open the package.  We'll respond with instructions on what you need to do.

What is your return policy?

Contact us within 2 weeks of receipt at service@alexor.com.  We'll respond with instructions on what you need to do.  Clearance and discounted blemished items are non-returnable.

Do you build custom products?

We are always up for a challenge.  If you have any special tool needs that might also appeal to others, please send us your suggestions.
